Bonding over Coffee in Costa Rica

Picture turning off the highway with the breeze in your hair on a sunny and 70s kind of day. Roll up for what you imagine to be an awkward first meeting and instead discover a kindred soul in the world. Within minutes, favorite food and football moments are flying (and decide to become friends even if one roots for PU while another for IU).

And then you remember: I’m on a coffee farm in Costa Rica.

 .

Conversation switches to the business of the farm, Brumas Montano. Translating to “Misty Mountains” in English, the farm is superbly organized and invests in advanced processing technology. With its micromill on site, the Brumas team produces immaculate award-winning coffees.

From the Misty Mountains comes coffee with utmost clarity and balance.

Since the first visit, our teams have been fortunate to share meals and brews together. We talk about what it means to set up a sustainable business over time, to be able to plan for the future of coffee together. It’s awesome to team up with others wanting the best for their family and coffee-drinking community.

Over differences and distances, coffee bonds us and provides the basis for great friendships.
