About the Farm
Gold Mountain Coffee Growers is a group of specialty coffee farmers that connects meticulously attended coffees, including microlots and larger lots, directly with roasters. Along with their flagship coffee farm in Nicaragua, Finca Idealista, they export and import their own coffees to ensure 100% traceability and quality.
Using refractometers, ripeness teams, and special wristbands, Gold Mountain approaches coffee farming like fine wine vineyards. Members of their teams sleep on every member farm during picking until the coffee leaves. Full-time agronomists travel from farm to farm daily on motorcycles to give advice.
Finca Idealista's live coffee museum and seed bank provides high-cupping varieties to producers worldwide and an educational experience for roasters. GMG is passionate about entrepreneurship and innovation can change the paradigm of what coffee taste can achieve.
